While it is not impossible to function in today's society without a credit card, having one can definitely make life a little bit easier. If you are a college student and are considering using a credit card to help you in times of need, then you need to know which ones will work better for you than others. If you run up a large credit card debt you may need to look towards bad credit loans to pay off the balance.  It is okay to occasionally splurge on a luxury item, but be careful about how much you charge and always make your payments on time.
